IBEW Local 134 has recently been
recognized as the bargaining representative for Court Reporters
in Cook County. This is the first victory in the struggle for
the Court Reporters to have the right to organize. A big thank
you goes out to all the Court Reporters who have stayed the
course and supported the IBEW through the past several years as
they fought to be recognized as a bargaining unit. Local 134
will soon enter into collective bargaining on behalf of the Cook
County Court Reporters. Congratulations to all on a job well
